The world’s first robocop will patrol the streets of Dubai
By 2015, Dubai had announced that it planned to create the first security corps with robotic agents among its ranks. This required the creation of androids with the ability, among others, to speak several languages to assist tourists in commercial areas.
The most surprising thing is that this idea is about to materialize in the month of May, when the first robotized agent begins to patrol the streets. Colonel Khaled Nasser Al Razzuqi, director of the Police Intelligent Services Administration, stated that by 2030 they expect 25% of the agents to be robots and will open the first intelligent police station that will not require human personnel.
The authorities’ expectation is that Dubai will become one of the five safest cities in the world by 2025.
