For some time I have been fond of homemade energy bars, especially when I stopped to read the composition of the commercials and saw that they were not as sanotas as they said in the ads. So, on the days of rest and in a heartbeat, I prepare a few for the rest of the week, and not presume, but I have noticed that with my bars the mornings are much more bearable.
Ingredients for two dozen sticks
40 g butter,150 g light honey, 110 g brown sugar, 50 g roasted almonds, 50 g roasted and chopped hazelnuts, 50 g chopped walnuts, 75 g raisins, 75 g dried apricots 100 g of oat flakes, 40 g of shredded coconut, 100 g of various seeds (pipes, pumpkin, poppy, etc.)
How to make granola energy bars
We will start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees. Melt the butter, brown sugar and honey in a bowl until we see the liquid mixture.
On the other hand we put in a bowl the rest of the ingredients, nuts chopped into small pieces and grapes and apricots chopped with a knife. Add the hot liquid mixture and stir with a spatula until the dry ingredients are thoroughly impregnated.
We distribute in a mold of silicone that has rectangular cavities, pressing with a teaspoon. Bake for 25 minutes and unmold once cool. We can also bake the whole board mix arranged in a tray or mold lined with baking paper and cut the rectangular bars when it is still hot.
