Besides being the easiest chocolate cake in the world, it is also the most crunchy. Its texture resembles that of the popular «bones» and also its flavor. It is delicious at room temperature and as an accompaniment to a dessert or mid-afternoon coffee. Eating a single piece of this cake is mission impossible, but it will not matter to us.
Ingredients for eight people
10-12 wafers, 350 g cocoa cream and hazelnuts, chocolate cereals, walnuts and icing sugar.
How to make the world’s easiest chocolate cake
We heat the cream of cocoa and hazelnuts to make it easier to work with it, for that we introduce the can (without lid or scraps of metallic paper) in the microwave and program a minute at low power. Remove with a knife or spoon to homogenize while we check the point. If we notice it too hard, we give it another heat stroke.
Put a wafer on a trabla and cover with a couple of tablespoons of cream of cocoa and hazelnuts. We spread it all over the surface with the aid of a brush and very careful not to break it. We put another wafer over it, well aligned, and repeat the operation. We do this as often as necessary, finishing with an uncovered wafer.
It is possible that the wafers are not straight at all, as you can see in the photo step by step, so we put a weight on them so that they are united. Let stand in the refrigerator for a minimum of one hour. After this time, remove the weight, anoint the surface with cream of cocoa and hazelnuts and decorate to taste. We have used chocolate cereals, chopped nuts and icing sugar.
